To my Love:
Valentine’s Day is a day when you are suppose to express your love to the one you love. But those who are in love and have been in love know that love is something you can’t help but show everyday. I don’t need you to do things for me or buy me things for me to know you love me. Just being around you and the way you are with me, allows me to feel the love you have for me. The mere fact that you choose to spend the rest of your life with me is enough. Although I’m nothing spectacular to look at, the way you look at me makes me feel like I’m the most beautiful thing you have ever seen. The way your whole face smiles when you see me is what keeps the light within me bright when darkness is constantly trying to take over. Your mere presence is enough to create a flood of love that I would happily drown in. Not being able to be with you everyday has been tough, but your love is what keeps me together. You no longer have to touch me, to touch me, I feel you always. All I have to do is close my eyes and there you are, the simple thought of you is love. I know I’m suppose to be the one who is expressing my love to you, but I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the way you love me. I really don’t deserve you and I will always think that because its true. As much as I get frustrated with certain situations that life has put me in, I just have to remind myself how blessed I am to have you. Remember this from my vow to you on our wedding day?, “You have become my reality that was suppose to only be a dream.” To this day I still can’t believe that you choose to love me. So thank you for loving me. I love you!
